Introduction

Greetings from the President

Norio Nogami, College President The stirring up society in the 21st century is truly the human one of globalism. In such multitudinous sea called "Society", everyman must, as a crew, embark on a ship what’s called "World Globe-go" which is both small and large, and each man must carry out his own mission for a safe voyage. Likewise, our ship named "Keitan-maru", though she appears small, is constructed in a detailed and safe plan and keeps managing to find better ways for a wonderful voyage called "Comfortable and safe campus life." Needless to say, our staffs can promise to offer a chance to enjoy attaining each man’s object when finishing the voyage. And our "Keitan-maru" is naturally equipped with an up-to-date apparatus, but it resorts only to the last measure; she is all hand-worked. The reason is that all the students play active roles with our staffs in the voyage. In the short voyage of campus life of our college, the undergraduates and staffs are preparing for the great future voyage of life in the great ocean with theoretical and practical exercises.
Why don’t you take a part in our warm campus life of "Kyoto College of Economics" capable of a small sharp turn, which enables you to discover your own treasure worthy of your own voyage log? It’s our firm belief that you’ll be able to find out something proper. In fact, it is you yourself that select your own destination and that control the ship where you work. Please remember that embarking on a wrong ship will lead you to a great repentance. Again, our Kyoto College of Economics is also your own Light House!

Norio Nogami, College President
